This teen travel program is definitely not your average summer camp! We incorporate marine biology, volunteer work, and a cultural appreciation unlike anything else. Campers will snorkel every morning, as well as participate in an ongoing study of reef fish health and population. We will volunteer with local schools in the neighboring area and enjoy daily outings – from local fruit markets to driving into the mountains to kayaking in the beautiful Caribbean ocean. Animal Camp Jamaica will push you to try new things and experiences. Our campers will "experience" this gorgeous island and call it home for two weeks!

Campers also have the option to become scuba certified, which makes ACJ one of the "funnest" scuba diving summer camps anywhere. Nothing beats scuba certification in the warm waters of the Caribbean.

We have created a program where teens will have more fun than they ever thought possible! (And they'll learn a lot too!)

Imagine seeing dozens of different kinds of fish while snorkeling each morning through the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean! What's even better is that you will learn to identify each of those different types of fish, what they eat and what eats them. You will hold sea urchins, touch sea anemone and feed the wrasse all while learning to appreciate and understand the underwater world of the marine ecosystem.

Every afternoon will hold a unique adventure – ranging from climbing up a 500-foot waterfall to tubing down the crystal clear waters of the Rio Bueno River. Another afternoon you may go on a segway tour of Prospect Plantation and swim with the stingrays at Dolphin Cove.

At the end of your busy yet productive day, you can relax each evening at Seven Palms Villa, your Jamaican home for your camp session. Seven Palms Villa is an 8000 square foot family-friendly villa with a beautifully maintained two-acre yard that contains loads of mature fruit trees and its own private swimming pool. The Villa also has two dogs, one cat and many lizards and crabs that call the courtyard and atrium their home.

Animal Camp Jamaica is the newest addition to the Cub Creek family of programs and we are so excited to share this program with you! Cub Creek Science Camp has more than a twenty-year history of providing a camp experience like no one other camp in the world. Each summer we have campers attend from nearly every state and many different countries.

Take some time to compare and you will see that no other camp even comes close, especially if you are an animal lover!

Animal Camp Jamaica, like Cub Creek Science Camp is a very unique program. There really are no other summer camps that offer anything similar. For comparison purposes, we suggest that you look up sea camp, marine biology camp, scuba camp or teen travel programs. You will find that for safety, fun, accommodations and type of experiences, we are in a class by ourselves.
