September is celebrated in our Union as Mission Month.
The aim of Mission Month is: • To encourage local churches to engage in the Mission of Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit to the Glory of God • To inform local congregations about the JBU Mission Focus • To train persons in the understanding of the Mission and the church as an Agent of the kingdom of God • To explore current trends and opportunities to do mission

We celebrate together your involvement in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ at the local level and our national projects. Mission Month 2015 should encourage us as we celebrate some of the achievements we have made with the help of God. It is our hope that it will also challenge us as we forge ahead living by faith expressed through love, to further the work for God’s kingdom here on earth.
My prayer is that Mission Month 2015 will inspire, challenge and cause us to be spiritually revitalized and committed towards Mission.
