ASIA Featuring John Payne

Progressive-rock arrangements, layered keyboards and arena-sized hooks shape a concert built around ASIA favorites from the 1980s. The performance takes place Sunday, January 31, on the Main Stage at The Moss Center. Vocalist and bassist John Payne fronts the band through songs including “Heat of the Moment,” “Only Time Will Tell” and “Sole Survivor.” Payne led ASIA for 15 years and recorded eight studio albums with the group, carrying its blend of melodic rock and progressive musicianship into a later chapter. The program revisits the band’s best-known material through a live set centered on vocal harmonies, prominent keyboard lines and guitar-driven arrangements.
