About this event
The Burger King Portmore 10K & School Relays is the second of three (3) races in the Grand Prix Championship aimed at developing and promoting long distance running in Jamaica and preparing athletes to compete in the annual Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K event, scheduled to be held in Negril on December 6, 2014. The Grand Prix attracts the best road racers in Jamaica who vie for series points and big prize money.
The road race Championship is staged in more than one parish throughout the island with races being held in Kingston, St. Catherine and St. James.
