Brod then escapes from Nazi Europe with Kafka&#039;s works in 1939, bringing them to Palestine. At the time of Brod&#039;s death in 1968, he left the manuscripts to his secretary. However, Brod&#039;s will is very confusing. Who owns Kafka?
