House of Blues Houston is a live-music concert hall and restaurant in downtown Houston, part of the Live Nation-owned House of Blues chain founded by Isaac Tigrett and Dan Aykroyd. It opened in 2008 at 1204 Caroline Street, four blocks from the George R. Brown Convention Center. Its Music Hall is a general-admission standing room for touring rock, pop, R&B and hip-hop acts; the venue also includes the smaller Bronze Peacock club and the Foundation Room VIP club and dining, and hosts private events for up to roughly 1,750 guests.
