Irish Set Dancing (not to be confused with Irish Step Dancing) is similar to country square dancing and is usually done in sets of eight (full set) or four (1/2 set). No partner is required. Our main goal is just to enjoy the music, dance and have fun while doing so. It is somewhat fast paced at times and involves swinging but, the footwork is fairly basic and easy to pick up.
