Allyson Briggs & The Dan Gabel Big Band

Vocalist Allyson Briggs and trombonist Dan Gabel bring classic jazz, Great American Songbook standards and golden-age big band style to the Banyan Bowl stage. The season-opening concert takes place Saturday, November 7 at Pinecrest Gardens as part of the 17th annual Jazz at Pinecrest Gardens series. Titled America: Together in Harmony, the program commemorates the nation’s 250th anniversary through music. Known professionally as Fleur Seule, Briggs performs jazz and popular standards in several languages and released the charting Burt Bacharach tribute album Promises, Prayers, and Raindrops in 2024. Gabel is a bandleader, arranger and jazz historian who serves as president and CEO of the American Big Band Preservation Society. Single-show tickets go on sale August 3, with season subscriptions available in June and July.
