Amarji King

Ballroom rhythms, footwork, juke, techno and house converge in a wide-ranging DJ set rooted in the South’s underground club scene. Houston-based DJ and producer Amarji King performs Friday, November 20 in ZeyZey Miami’s Tima Disco, with Omni Soundspace presenting. Her selections connect regional club styles with hip-hop and experimental electronic music. King has built a presence as a nightlife curator, radio host and producer, holding residencies across Texas and releasing original tracks, remixes and bootlegs. Her performances include a Boiler Room set in Austin, where her fluid mixing and bass-driven selections placed her within a showcase of contemporary Texas club music. ZeyZey is an open-air cultural venue serving seasonal cocktails, natural wines and nonalcoholic drinks, along with grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos from Tacos María.
