Remember Eric Carle and his picture book about the Hungry Caterpillar? The illustrations were made with colourful papers which he created himself. In this workshop we’ll learn how to make our own papers and how to combine them with sourced textured and pattered paper. We’ll create an illustration or a mosaic and in the meantime learn how to balance colour, texture and composition. Great skills to use in your entire art practice! And maybe it’s be the start of our own unique picture book! • For artists of all ages.
