The Wakulla County Historical Society presents a unique event to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday! “Threads through Time: a historic clothing fashion show and tea” will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 2-5 pm at the Crawfordville Women’s Club.In colorful pageantry, Florida’s history will be illustrated by models in period dress while narrators explain the powerful forces and events that influenced even clothing design.Do you have a piece of historic clothing you can enter in the show? Please complete and return the application. All models are complimentary guests at the event.Applications to participate and tickets for the tea are $25.00 and will be sold online at WakullaHistory.org or at the historical society gift shop beginning July 1.
