About this event
Join Laura Churchill Duke as she celebrates the launch of her novel, Ruff Tides, a historical true crime story from the Fundy Five Islands of Nova Scotia. In the 1840s, young Benjamin lives on an isolated Nova Scotia island where imagination blurs the line between adventure and danger, pirates, sea monsters, treasure ships... and a man with an axe. This event will feature readings by the author and special guests, and musical performances by Sharon Churchill Roe. Ruff Tides is published by Moose House Publications and is available in local bookstores across the Valley and online through Amazon and Indigo, both in print and e-reader format. Books will be available for purchase and signing during the event. The launch of Ruff Tides is free and open to everyone. It is a live performance, therefore not a drop-in event.
