On September 12, The Capital One Café at Brickell is helping students grow their financial confidence. Whether they bank with Capital One or not, everyone is welcome to join the free and interactive Financial Firsts Mixer: Financial Firsts Mixer – 9/12 from 3-6PM Level up your money game before the fall semester kicks into high gear. Managing your own finances for potentially the first time can be a big change, but it doesn't have to be intimidating. Stop into the Café for a fun activity designed to provide you with potential strategies for navigating this time of financial change and grow your financial confidence. You’ll complete our "build-a-kit" circuit across four interactive zones in the Café while tackling an experiential monthly budget simulation, setting attainable financial goals, and assembling your own First-Year Essentials Kit along the way. Grab a handcrafted beverage, sit down with your peers and our friendly Ambassadors, and pick up some tips and tricks for managing your financial future. And don’t forget, students receive 10% off handcrafted sips with a valid post-secondary school ID or 50% off when using their Capital One card to stay fueled all day long.
