EDC offers official three-day round-trip shuttle passes between selected pickup points and the venue. Published departure windows are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with returns from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. The organiser says Hotel EDC guests ride free on its shuttle. Check your pickup point, preferred time and the price of a separate shuttle pass when booking.

Hotel EDC Thailand is announced at Angsana Laguna Phuket, with festival-themed rooms, poolside and beach activities, wellness sessions and dedicated transfers. It is a separate stay to compare with other Phuket hotels, not an accommodation benefit included in every EDC ticket.

If you want a day away from festival activity, explore Phuket Old Town for its historic streets and local food, or spend a quieter afternoon near your accommodation. Keep the daytime plan realistic. The best set on Sunday, December 20 will be more enjoyable if you have had enough rest after Friday and Saturday.

What You Need to Know Before You Go

EDC Thailand is for guests aged 20 and over, and a valid physical photo ID is required. The official guide says digital IDs, photocopies, expired IDs and birth certificates are not accepted as proof of entry. International travellers may use a valid passport or another accepted government-issued photo ID that meets the rules.

The festival also has no re-entry. Once your wristband has been scanned into Rhythm Park on a given day, you cannot leave and come back that day. Eat, arrange transport and bring permitted essentials with that in mind.
