Swim for the Sanctuary

Swim for the Sanctuary is a fundraiser in support of the White River Fish Sanctuary - a no-take zone of 370 acres, covering approximately three and a half miles of coastline from St Ann to St Mary - established six years ago by the Jamaica Inn Foundation in tandem with the area’s fishers’ association. The annual event was developed to increase awareness around the work of the White River Fish Sanctuary, raise funds for the important cause as well as develop diversity in the island's sports offering. Swimmers of all ages & levels will participate in races at 500 metres, 1K, 3K, 5K, as well as relay events and paddleboard challenges.
