The Love We Carry Art Installation & International Wave of Light

The Love We Carry is a quiet memorial art installation created to honour and remember babies who have been lost through pregnancy and infant loss.

Taking place on October 15 — Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day — the installation coincides with the International Wave of Light, when people around the world light candles at 7pm in remembrance of babies gone too soon.

Handmade remembrance hearts have been created for babies from families in our local community, each made with the details their families chose to share. These hearts will form part of the installation on the evening.

Everyone affected by pregnancy or infant loss is warmly invited to come, pause and remember their baby. You can spend a quiet moment with the installation, light a little light, or simply be there.

There will also be an opportunity on the evening to create your own remembrance heart for a baby you carry in your heart.

There is no need to register, share your story or bring anything.

Every baby is welcome. Every baby was loved. ❤️
