A Christmas Carol: The Musical

Charles Dickens’ holiday story gets a family-focused musical adaptation as part of Actors’ Playhouse’s Children’s Theatre season at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Running on weekends from Saturday, December 5 through Sunday, December 20, the production follows Ebenezer Scrooge as the Cratchit family, Tiny Tim and three spirits lead him through a reckoning with his past, present and future.

Adapted by Nina Felice and Earl Maul, with music and lyrics by Scott Morlock and Earl Maulding, A Christmas Carol: The Musical combines Dickens’ familiar characters and themes with original songs created for family audiences. Public performances take place Saturdays at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

The Sunday, December 13 matinee is designated as a sensory-inclusive performance.
