The Aabuthnott Gallimore High School, formerly called Alexandria High School was built in 1974 to accommodate 950 students. Presently, the school’s enrolment exceeds this number by more than 200. Most students are from communities surrounding the school. The school is situated in a farming community and most of the parents are employed as subsistence farmers and vendors.
